DISCOVER THE STRENGTH IN YOUR STORY
What an incredible evening we had at the Covent Garden Hotel for the private screening of Discover the Strength in Your Story, featuring the BAFTA award-winning documentary White Nanny Black Child. The room was filled with a rich blend of individuals from both the creative and corporate spaces, all drawn together by a shared desire for human connection, belonging, and the transformative power of personal storytelling.
The documentary sparked a deep and reflective conversation, highlighting how our personal stories bridge differences and celebrate our shared experiences. Our thought-provoking panel discussion, moderated by Jessica Huie MBE, brought invaluable insights from Hannah Awonuga (Head of DEI, Knight Frank), Fega Ibodje (DEI Coordinator, Sony Music), and myself. The audience’s questions were raw, moving, and uplifting—a testament to what happens when we create space for authenticity.
This event is more than a screening; it’s an immersive experience that fosters connection and understanding. We are now offering this as an organisational workshop—a powerful, thought-provoking alternative to traditional DEI sessions. If you’re ready to explore the impact of personal storytelling in your organisation, let’s have a conversation.
